The Race to Zero Zone is an interactive area following the global campaign to educate young talent on the importance of reducing carbon emissions to mitigate climate change, and the opportunities in building a career in the energy sector. The Race to Zero Zone will take the EGYPES youth through a journey and learn about the different sectors in energy, familiarise the young participants on the format of the EGYPES Young Professionals experience and expand on how the global energy community is transitioning to clean energy.

This interactive exhibit is designed to inspire, educate, and empower students to embrace clean, sustainable solutions for greener future. This zone will educate students about the benefits, technologies and importance of renewable energy sources in fostering a sustainable future.
TECHNOLOGY ZONE
Engage with hands-on STEM kits, sparking high school students' interest in science and technology. Fostering curiosity and learning, this zone underscores technology's pivotal role in sculpting the future of energy. Explore the dedicated Technology Zone, a hub spotlighting budding technologies and energy innovations to educate and inspire youth.
ENGINEERING ZONE
Within the EGYPES Young Professionals Programme lies the Engineering Zone, a dedicated realm spotlighting engineering's pivotal role in shaping the future of energy. Fostering industry engagement and encouraging high school students to explore, while offering young professionals a platform to connect with esteemed engineering enterprises, industry titans, and leading organisations. The Engineering Zone will host STEM workshops, Technical Presentations, and Engineering Challenges.

INDUSTRY FIELD TRIPS
These excursions take participants to real-world locations relevant to the program's focus. During field trips, participants have the opportunity to observe and engage with industry
professionals, witness energy systems in action, and deepen their understanding of the practical applications of their studies. These immersive experiences allow for a deeper connection to the industry, foster curiosity and critical thinking, and provide invaluable insights into their potential career paths.
VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME
The Volunteer programme is designed to help University students and young professionals to gain valuable experience, develop new skills and build their network within the industry.
As a volunteer, they:
- can participate in different empowerment activities in the youth programme stand and other special features during the EGYPES event
- will be eligible to compete for ‘EGYPES Outstanding Volunteer' Award during the closing ceremony and win exciting prices.
