Young Professionals

Race to Zero Challenge is a high-impact youth innovation challenge where undergraduate students develop and present solutions that accelerate the energy transition toward a net zero future. Participants work in teams to design practical, scalable ideas addressing real-world decarbonisation challenges across the energy sector.​

The programme features a project showcase of shortlisted teams, live pitch presentations before industry experts and judges, and culminates in an Awarding Ceremony recognising the most impactful and innovative solutions driving progress toward net zero.

The Engineering the Future Hub is a hands-on, industry-led platform where young engineers and technical talents tackle real-world energy challenges through applied problem-solving and technology-driven simulations.​ The Hub immerses participants in the realities of the energy sector from operations and systems optimisation to digital transformation bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry application.​

Through guided challenges, engineering simulations, and expert mentorship, participants develop practical solutions that reflect the complexities of today’s energy systems and the demands of the future workforce.

The Innovation Zone is a curated ecosystem of four distinct experience zones designed to showcase how innovation is transforming the future of energy across different dimensions. Each zone offers an interactive, student-focused environment where participants explore emerging technologies, real-world applications, and future opportunities shaping the energy industry.​

The four zones include Digital & AI Experience, Future Mobility & Smart Cities, Industrial Technologies & Robotics, and Entrepreneurship & Start-Up Innovation, each providing hands on engagement, demonstrations, and challenge-based activities led by industry partners and/or young innovators.

The Youth Forum is a dynamic speaker series platform built around seven thematic tracks that brings together young professionals, students, and industry leaders to exchange ideas on the most critical topics shaping the future of energy.​

Through structured dialogues, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, the Youth Forum explores themes such as energy transition, digital transformation, future careers, entrepreneurship, engineering, leadership, and the societal impact of energy enabling meaningful conversations that connect youth perspectives with real industry insights and opportunities.
